Excellent place. You get a lot for your money. I ordered the Catfish nuggets, which came with two sides: collared greens and fried okra. When it came out, I had two whole pieces of catfish, half a basket full of fried okra, and a tiny cup of collard greens. I couldn’t finish half of my food in the end, and I was ecstatic for the value of what I had. I would highly recommend it!

If you want a fresh 🦞 roll bursting with all claw meat. This is the place for you! Hubby had the Caplinger’s special dinner. Hot, tender, and more than a meal. And, of course, I had to order the gator bites, I haven’t stopped thinking about them since our 1st visit. So fresh! We ate dinner, but they also have a fresh Seafood counter where you can buy it & take it home to cook it. The scallops were Huge in the window. We bought some to bring home with us.

I highly recommend this restaurant/shop if you’re a seafood lover. The lobster roll and catfish fillet were both amazing, and they have one of the best-smoked tuna salads.

There is a great selection of high-quality seafood. We also took large scallops to cook at home, and they were amazing. There are also fair prices and friendly people.

FRESH seafood! The best dips! Smoked Salmon dip is a must-try, and the oysters were absolutely amazing! It was a different experience getting them in the shell, but we will definitely be doing that again! If you haven’t had their Sandwiches, you are missing out!

If you want seafood that feels and tastes just like you ate it by the ocean, Caplinger’s is the place for you. I got the Caplingers special basket. It came with chipotle coleslaw, hush puppies, and fried white fish. The slaw was super tasty and different than any slaw I’ve had before. The fish was super flaky and tender. The Hush Puppies were crispy and delicious. Overall I highly recommend taking a trip over to Caplingers to give their seafood a try.
